• Developed a smart pet monitoring and access system using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, C/C++, and Python.
• Implemented RFID-based pet identification to automatically allow authorised pets through pet door
• Implemented an always-on design using MQTT to transmit data and alerts to users remotely while maintaining full local functionality during network outages
• Integrated sensors, microcontrollers, and network communication for hardware-software interaction.
